Cooking With Fast Ed

Well known TV celebrity chef, Fast Ed, from Better Homes and Gardens will be doing 3 cooking demonstrations each day.

10:00am - Morning Session :: Explore the Act (Fitzroy Pavilion Stage)

- ENTRÉE: Herbed maltagliati with smoked chicken and walnuts
- MAIN: Daube of beef cheek in red wine and figs
- DESSERT: A theory of chocolate with Jasper & Myrtle and Gypsy Cheese Co.

11:30am - Lunch Session :: From the Mountains to the Gardens (Fitzroy Pavilion Stage)

- ENTRÉE: Tornade of rainbow trout with Spring pea velouté
- MAIN: Reverse-seared rib eye cutlet with garlic-spiked potatoes
- DESSERT: Pumpkin brulée with halva mascarpone and strawberry consommée

2:00pm - Afternoon Session :: Firestarter (Outside the Mallee Pavilion)

- SOUP: Smoked potato and turtle bean soup
- MEAT: Kerala-style beef shin stew
- GRILL: Butterflied lamb leg in Baharat with pickle juice baste
- DESSERT: Apple, honey and blueberry grunt
